Directions to Walthamstow Reservoirs

By Car: There is ample free car parking by the Gate Office, a five minute walk from the reservoirs. By Public Transport:Situated in Zone 3, the fishery is easy to get to on public transport. London Underground: the Victoria Line goes to both Blackhorse Road and Tottenham Hale. The entrance is 10 minutes walk from either station. By Rail: Blackhorse Road and Tottenham Hale are 20 minutes from Liverpool Street station. The Gospel Oak to Barking Line (part of the London Overground) also goes through Blackhorse Road. Buses: The 123 or 230 bus stops outside the fishery and the W4 stops 100 yards from the entrance.

Facilities and safety

Disabled access: There are two car parks reserved for disabled drivers, one by the North West corner of No 4, the other by the South West corner of No 5. Wheelchair access: Although a wheelchair ramp has been installed to the Self-Service Permit Office, at present only one of the coarse fishing reservoirs has a platform specially constructed for wheelchairs. Toilets: There are both Lady’s and Gentleman’s toilets in the Marine House. Food and drink: The Ferry Boat Inn just across the road serves food but there are no shops within easy walking distance.
